I remember seeing in a mag about a Caddy junkyard in CA somewhere. Does anybody have the phone number for it? We need some stuff for a 69 Caddy. Thanks
I belive the guy runs an add in hemings (least he used to when i had caddys) and i think he might even have a web site now. google it. Hey since you live in muncie you know a guy with a 72 buick riviera boattail. black interior with buckets? I sold it to a guy down there about 4 years ago.
There is also Cadillac King. Not a big yard, but when I went a couple years back for '57 parts... They had tons of them stacked 3 high. Kinda shifty people, but tons of parts. Check Hemmings.Com like they said.... There are about 3 I know of here in Cali.... Hyfire
Thanks for the info Could be the one a friend mine had. He sold a year or so ago but, I don't remember what int it had in it. I looked for a pic of it but could not find one.
Be ready to pay some BIG$$$$'s I almost burst out in laughter when they told me how much they wanted for a Cad/LaSalle shift fork! I ended up buying and entire car for half that.
Hey Ron try www.cadillacheaven.com or call them at 1-800-227-9330. They are in LeLand, NC and according to their website carry stuff from '60-'02. Good luck...
It's not cali but I've bought stuff for my 70 Coop from these guys, prices are reasonable Cadillac Ville-D Baers 22909 State Route 9 SE Woodinville, WA 98072-9701 (425) 481-9500
There is a guy called CaddyDaddy Sent him a power brake unit and a lot of cash he was suposed to send me a complete rebuilt, Well being the trusting type I ****ched my mark on the one I sent. The hump sent me mine back with a shaker can paint job and the diaphrame still shot, I let him tell me his Moby **** then told him I had my John Hand**** on it, Stuttering #@%$#% Sent me a new one and I kept mine. The Moral to this is DONT BUY STUFF FROM THAT GUY!!!
Also be sure to check out Arizona Vintage Auto Parts-- which is a Cadillac junk yard in Phoenix, Arizona that has hundreds of Caddy's. I got a 390 manifold and some other things from them in the past, and pricing was much better than A&A in California. They are online http://www.azvintageparts.com/ -scott noteboom
That was a long time ago.My old (old) boss rented the yard to him.Must have been 14 years ago.He is now called "Cadillacville" has been in in Winlock Washington for over decade! Don't know if the state has closed him down or not.(wrecking yards have special laws) There is a Costco where is old yard was.
not big...he's got 10 or 15 acres out in desert near Palmdale filled with '40s to '00s Cads. The other one is his sales yard. He has almost everything including MANY dual quad setups. Just be on your toes. Not bad to deal with but he may try to covince you need more than just what you really need. Dropped over $750 in October. Did get free beer outta him. http://www.autoskill.net/dws/ck/ Cadillac King - (818) 890-0621 | (818) 890-3117
Here are a few links I've collected. Haven't used them and some might have been posted already, but might save you a bit of time searching: http://www.caddy-parts.com/ http://www.cl***iccadillacparts.com/ http://www.honestjohn.com/ http://cadillacworld.homestead.com/index.html http://usapartssupply.com/
try this guy: Unique Auto & Truck (732) 363-0677 470 Chandler Rd Jackson, NJ 08527 He is a real weirdo but he specializes in 70 and older cars, especially caddy's.. he probably has about 200 caddy's in his lot. As is said he's really weird but you can probably get a great deal out of him.. Tell him Ray's Auto sent you (Jersey City, NJ). All other Tri-state area hambers.. His lot is worth a look.. Tons of cool ****, even some pre-war..
Also if you're looking for parts, I fully recommend a place called Coopers Vintage Auto Parts out of Burbank, CA. These guys have very fair (compared to all the others) pricing and they deliver. While they do have a website http://www.coopersvintage.com/ i'd recommend you don't bother emailing them, as they don't check it. Just give them a call and they'll take nice care of you. Very good for me... -scott noteboom
