It was my dads cousins. Dad saw it as a kid and heard it run a quarter mile away and walked from the farm to his house and freaked out at all the things he had seen in hot rod magazine were on this car. It's been in storage for 40+ years and the cousin passed away two months ago. Dad bought it, dream come true.
Well other then the passing of the family member it just doesn't get any better then that. Pretty rare to see and injected hemi under the hood of a '37 ford. Nice looking install too.

He never actually ran it, just built it. Wouldn't have been much of a sleeper with the open headers though!
Scrolling through the pic's, I'm thinking to myself 'neat coupe'. Then I got to the engine compartment pic. Wow!! Way too cool, good score.
I think that is a Pontiac-Olds rear? I hope we get to see the rear trailing arm setup at some point. oh...and a pic of the Packard trans it has; I think you mentioned that last week?
Tough way to come by it but ... a score just the same. Tell your Pops to enjoy it & not to store it!!
Not sure about the rear, it's a six lug wheel on the back five on the front if that tells you anything. I can't get a pic of the trans right now, we don't have a lift and the car is low.
