    No worries Rem,

I'm trying to adapt a self priming pump to a 8ba flathead.
After doing some homework I realized that the mounting holes are off set/ one higher than the other.
I do know that there are one's that mount like mine. I have been checking , Hillman, Humbar Super-Snipe and Ford Thames. Thanks for your response, I will keep researching.

Hi cap'n . . . finally got an answer for you on these: the original supplier over here has sold up and most or all of his stock is now with Bob Froch (http://www.bobfroch.co.uk/). I have spoken to Bob and he is able to supply rebuilt pumps with the hand primer for £80, which is currently about $120 I think. These are built to order from a selection of good used and NOS parts, including the diaphragm. Now, that hasn't caused any problems that Bob is aware of over here, but how a 30 or 40 year old NOS diaphragm would cope with some high ethanol content fuel is an unknown, if that is something you have to use in your area. There is going to be postage on top, and there may be import duty or taxes to pay at your end if shipped to the United States, so I don't know how the total would compare to local supplies - although they wouldn't have the hand primer. Unfortunately (or fortunately, maybe) that web page is about as IT as Bob gets, but something could be worked out via PayPal and a HAMBer local to Bob if you wanted a pump. He does have a selection of other AC parts so may have what you need if the Ford one won't fit, but you'd probably need part numbers.

    Hey Rem,
Thanks for the information, I don't think for the price and all the other fees it would be to my benefit to purchase one. My main concern would be, like you mentioned, "used or NOS diaphragms". I thought maybe this option would eliminate the need for a mini inline electric pump If vapor lock became an issue. It didn't when I was driving it 4 years ago in hot weather. I can add a inline pump at anytime if needed. I just liked the idea of a hand priming pump. Again, thanks much for taking the time to research this for me.
