Remember them and the other Cragar stuff, too. There was a belt buckle, and some other stuff. The mug is the best. Bet it wasn't cheap!
I use to work at Reliable Automotive here in Sioux City. We use to give them out back in the 70s. Wish I would of kept some.
Way cool. And just to bust yer balls a little, you'd think you would have spelled CRAGAR correctly in the ***le, given you have the mug right on front of you.
I found an order form folded up in the original box. Says more available $12.55 each and further states shipping and handling included. If shipping is around $8 or $9.00 bucks presently, this is a super bargain. Do you think Cragar will tell me to pound sand if I mail a check to them tomorrow?
When I look at Vintage shots from days gone by and other old picture threads I often tell my wife to come and look where we can get a burger for 20 cents and a shake for another 20 cents. Or steak for 29 cents a pound. The scary part is we remember doing it.
i call mine the "mug nut" you know like "lug nut" but it's a mug, not a nut. not that you would want to drink beer from a lug nut anyway. now i'm thirsty!
Yup.... I have two of them ... Local speed shop gave them out when you bought a new set of wheels.... Got the belt buckle and the Cowboy Hat too....
