Hot Rods mufflers or baffles pro and cons??

have baffles on 3in pipes on 61 thames with chev 350, is this good or should I go with mufflers?? if I have room View attachment 2879201 View attachment 2879201 View attachment 2879201

What kind of baffles?

I prefer mufflers for street cars but some tracks won't let you run your headers open and there are some good race type baffles out there.

Three inch pipes? Duals?

You have the volumetric efficiency to scavenge 739.66-horsepower with that system.

Is there a 8-71 on top of that 350?

 

most mufflers are just baffles but with chambers on my 454 I use 2 chambered style mufflers on 3" duals and the sound is nice without the rapping of a straight pipe .
