I've done a search and threads are mostly old.
Who has decent panels that are reasonable? While doing my own leg work, I noticed the prices were up and down. Plus most companies seem to use the same pictures for their panels. So pics don't tell me anything either.
    Some input is greatly appreciated.

  2. So here is my take on it. EMS has the best selection. That said know this. No patch panel is exact to factory, just close enough to get you going. I do lots of this and have learned to build my own when wanting things correct and exact. I've also been doing Tin work for more than 40 years and have the equipment and knowledge to do that. Not all people care enough or need top level repairs. That's where the reproduction panels come into play. When close enough is good enough buy the better choice out there,,,, EMS. I believe they are a vendor here also.

I've used EMs products in my build. No bad word from here about their stuff.
I agree that patches are never like they were from the factory, but they are really close.

i've used ems rocker and floor braces and yes they are hi quality for a repo part.More money than some of the generic fits alls but worth it in the end. I'm just happy they make good parts. Without ems it would be a tough row to hoe.

We have done nearly everything to our shoebox in the way of EMS panels and custom made ones. All said and done EMS fits ok . Remember none will be a simple weld in really . There will be slight modifications to the original car fit or to EMS to make it all correct. Rust and damage are never the same. On our shoe box we rolled up new complete rear quarters as they had be roughly patched previously with copious amounts of sculpting filler. So the repro EMS patches were too small. So even with a hammer folders and minimal tools it can be done to a good standard.
