HI, this might be up a thousand times. Can anyone tell - what brand is this tire?? Thx for Your help....chris
Look like a Radir -M/T to me. Same thing i have on my coupe, i just had grooves cut in mine so they are "cheaters" Tony
Radir makes these and are a completely new tire. Hurst also produces this style tire based on the re-cap method. They are priced accordingly and there are tons of threads discussing them both. Hope this helps.
OK - thx. I thought so too but wasn´t shure. It seems like Hurst is no more....any News on that. Thanks again....
Sorry, I'd missed the Hurst deal. http://www.kellyshotrodparts.com/cheater_slicks.html Here's the link to Kelly's. They sell the Towel City re-caps. Forgot about them. I know a bunch of folks have had good luck with the re-cap slicks, but personally I like the idea of a new tire better. You might also check your regulations in Germany. Seems I remember inspections and road rules being a little more serious there. I wish Radir would make a Blackwall!
Yes we are, which is why i replied. I've been here a looong time and given, and received a lot of help over the years. The "who cares" is in my signature line, not in my answer... JohnnyD, thanks! Tony
check out Towel City Racing Tires www.towelcityracingtires.com . these are mine, Hurst was located in my backyard in Oregon City, but went out of business and Cory has not resurfaced yet that I know of. You can chose grooving options from dirt track to cheater slicks, 8, 9 and 10 inch wide, you name it. he sent me mine in days and they balanced up just fine.
I have Towel City on my 62 Delray. Recap of Michelin Radial. Internal rough balance. Never a problem.
...all right Folks. As an American living in Germany it´s sometimes hard to take regarding laws - especially with cars. Thx for Your help......Chris
