Thanks, I'm not big on buying rims new, but with the 5x5.5 lug pattern I was having an impossible time finding front wheels.

That's just a seriously wicked looking coupe, anyway you shoe it. Well done.

  8. I'm pretty much burned out on black wheels, I think the change makes the car look much better.

  9. Nice, I think they suit the cars style well.

I'm socking away the other wheels to build a similar car with my 3 window. I have an unpolished blower, the steel wheels, cast finish cal custom valve covers, an old cast finish aluminum oil pan and some really cool deep blue lacquer. This car will be on a 32 frame, but that's another build far down the road.

The new tire & wheel combo fits the "Hot Rod attitude" of your Deuce 5wd so much better then the black wheels with beauty rings.

    Well done!

They tie the whole car together for one "look" if that makes sense.

I like them. Definitely fit that bad ass attitude of the car. Looks great.

  18. it looks like a purpose built drag coupe now
    cool

  19. It looks better. But is it just the perspective/optical illusion... or are the front tires really tall?
Not a criticism, just an observation. Believe me when I say I'm a big fan of your builds.
