CarNut.Com has tons of pictures; just pick your poison. It's a good site to look at. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
This was a New Mexico/Texas car - rust free with it 's original shocks. Real 150 business man's coupe. Originally green 6 cylinder straight drive, no back seat. Had 350/350 when I bought it - now lives in Greensboro.
About forty years ago, ran everything from a 283 to an L88, Dodge pickup axle. It was my cousins and rode rougher than a cob.
This is mine 327 four speed. Drive it ever chance I get always puts a smile on my face. Took my twenty year old granddaughter for a ride last night. Her first time in a old HotRod she loved all the thumbs up we got. Ron

Old Wolf my 25 year old son was looking and reading this. He said you stole that car from some little ole lady! I laughed. He's been helping me on my 55 wagon since he was 1 1/2 years old. Yes little fingers can hold nuts and bolts. Probably get me arrested now days.
A buddy just finished building this for his 15 year old grandson. He's already smiling, and can't wait till he turns 16. Bet he will be the envy of his high school.
My ole '55 that belonged to my dad and was one of the family hot rods from about 1970-78. Learned how to drive in it and saw AG at the drive-in, sitting on the tailgate. I found it and bought it back in '98. Title was still in my dad's name. Pics, then & now.
Dad's current '55 at 78 years young. He's always had a 55-57 Chevy in the garage, as well as a 30's hot rod/street rod.
My grandson Christopher is 17 months and ate up with 55 chevys. he likes to watch drag race videos of 55,s. he also is already trying to turn wrenches. I bought (stole) the 55 at a court ordered divorce auction. It had no front cap just the spindles no engine or trans. I junked a 55 4 door to put it together. I still run the old original Muncie 318 three speeds. they have a steep first gear .
Here is my daughter and me with my Dad's 55 2door Hardtop after we picked it up from getting paint a few weeks ago.
LOL the only thing '55 Chevy about that car is the roof. There is one in an older moonshiner movie that is build perfect (not "gasser") that I would like to copy if I could ever lay hands on a two door.
At first glance I thought you must have been snooping around behind my shop. As you can se I have some 55,s also
