Mini-mayhem ahead! The Primates' 3rd Annual Slots of Doom is on, but will have to be postponed a bit due to a few of us in the middle of 1:1 scale car project thrashes for the Lonestar Round Up. Current target date is a mid-April Saturday afternoon, and location will again be Dad's Slot Cars in beautiful downtown Des Plaines, IL. Looks like we might even have a sponsor this year. For those of you who haven't attended before, Dad's features a 1:24 scale banked oval, road course and a dragstrip. If you want to attend, let me know your prefered date -- April 15, 22 or 29 -- so we can accommodate the most racers. Lemme know if you have any questions... in the meantime start building those lil' deathmobiles!
I'll see what the other guys choose for the day, and I'll start saving gas money, now. Time to hit Ebay for a 1:24 scale Divco milk truck. JOE
Where in Ill is Des Plaines located I didnt find it on the map. This might make for a road trip sounds fun.
