Best Place to Buy Piecrust Slicks

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 63CadGuy, Feb 3, 2006.

  1. I'm going to buy a pair of 15x8.20 piecrust slicks and was wondering the best place to get them from. I don't want to buy the most expensive pair, but want to buy a pair that will last.

What do you think about the recap hursts on radials? Would I have to run a radial tire on the front with these, because I want to run a bias tire if possible to keep my '56 as traditional as possible. Let me know what you think.

Don't mix radial and bias ply, causes very odd handling and is unsafe.

  9. I was thinking about those also, but they are radials, does anyone make a nostalgic looking radial that would look good on the front of a g***er '56 with 4.5" wide wheels?
