    Hi guys!

Im ready to buy floor pans for my car.

I am looking at these on ebay:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/130550676367?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/130551021535?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

What I dont like is that they are multi-piece and the beads are non orignal looking at all. Also the rear floor pans are flat and I dont see a driveshaft tunnel or anything.....

Then I'm looking at these which are repros of the originals....

    http://bradleyfloorpans.com/catalog.0.html

If >I get the ones from Bradley, do you guys think I will have much trouble installing the 392 HEMI and lets say, a quick change rear end???

Im asking because all aftermarket floor pans I see are made flat, with no driveshaft hump...Even the Steve's Auto restorations ones....which right now are unavailable and also are EXPENSIVE!

Do a search on here about the Bradley floors. Sounds like he takes quite a while to build and ship.

Do a search on here for Donnie Smart you'll find pictures of the floor pans that he does. All of his patch panels are great as well.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out. Always really liked the 34 3 window.

Best of luck with your efforts. Must be tough doing everything long distance.

I recall a T.V. do***entary on Peru...and that winding road 2 miles up...and the old bus full of people speeding around the blind turns...

Is this Hot Rodding in Peru???

(just kidding, Domingo...My sister travelled there with a Peace Corps ***ociated team years ago, to help with a large irrigation project. She still remembers the beauty down there...)

    Hola Domingo!!

I just saw this thread and it brought back many memories of my time in Lima 1976-1978.

I will past here a link to another Forum I belong to where I posted a couple of pages of a magazine article I did for an Australian magazine many years ago about cars I saw daily in Lima and surrounding areas.

Sadly, for some reason I did not get a photo of my favorite car of the time, a 1934 Ford Phaeton in totally original condition that operated as a Taxi on a daily basis near my office on the Pan American Highway.

I think I have some more 'loose" photo of more cars in Peru and if I find them I will post them on your thread.

A small favor if I may. My 45 year old son is trying to get current photos of the homes we lived in from his birth to now for an album. I managed to get recent photos of our homes in Sweden and Canada but not in Peru.

I don't know where in Lima you are located, but if you have the chance to go by 935 Avenida Dos de Mayo in the San Isidro District and take a photo of our old residence and post it here I would forever be in your debt.

Good luck with your 3 window, one of Ford's most handsome cars.

    Here is the magazine article.

    Cheers

    Bill

OK Bill! Ill snap a pic of your former residence....I just hope it hasnt been demolished and now a building resides in place!!!!

Yes, lots of cars here in Lima, check this site out:

It's my friend's car museum. Probably 80% of the cars in his collection were found in Peru, they were originally sold new in PERU.

Thanks! He lives in Miraflores??? Small world!!!

Oh stumbling accross old cars here has been getting tougher and thougher. You dont see em around anymore.....

Building a Hot Rod down here? I guess you can get away with about anything. We just started getting tech inspections and they control emissions and such, but you can get around all of that easily....

The roof had to come off....it will be easier to do all the extensive fab work it needs that way...the a pillars were rotted out anyway....

We got some replacement boxed longitudinal frame rails and we will reuse all of the original crossmembers and modify em as needed so we can fit the 392 hemi and 4 speed muncie transmission.

the roof looks like a sieve, it will require extensive patchwork....more like fabbing all the rood again out of flat stock sheetmetal....

....doin the upper windshield stepped flange first....
