Projects 34 Ford 3 window coupe + 392 HEMI project in LIMA-PERU

lets store the front clip along with some other iron that will keep good company.....the cuda is a 71 340 4 speed shaker car...will work on it soon.....b5 blue.....and a roadking......

 

Here is the first patch section already grafted on the roof....oxi acetilene wire welding....some hammer and dolly work too....

 

.....now time to install the patch on the front section of the roof.....

 

....here is a closeup of the roofs corner, it looks crude, but actually its pretty smooth....it should turn out real nice when done.....and its all steel.....

....i think im gonna leave this one bare steel so all that went on to save it can be appreciated.....just sand it to a brushed finish and then clearcoat it probably??? dont not....im toying with that idea....

As you hopefully know, breathing the vapors that drift off a weld of galvanized steel could kill you. Or at the very least make you really sick. You should grind all that plating off the weld area before heating it up.
