    All,

Looking to order a 32 frame with A crossmembers. Does anyone know if Gary at Blackboard is still around? I have called several times and sent emails and have never heard from anyone.. Any current alternatives to quality and price at this time? Located in WA.

    Thanks,
    Nolan

Your link doesn't work and I don't think I would want to deal with someone who wouldn't/couldn't respond to repeated phone calls and emails.

Gary did a perimeter frame for me and is doing a complete ch***is in the near future. He is super busy so keep trying, he's a really good guy, as is Gary @ Cornhusker, just depends on your budget and time frame. There's probably 10 different places that would get many recommendations from HAMB members. Just do a search there plenty of threads.

Mine came with a Brookville rolling Ch***is ordered by previous owner who sold it to me uncompleted. It was built by Pete and Jake's. Body is '31 A and frame is pinched, stepped, C'd, bobbed in rear, uses an A frt. crossmember, and incorporates a very stout X member and '39 type pedals. all very nice work.

Another recommendation for Duane Jones at Kiwi Konnection outside of Bakersfield. Super nice guy and very good work, I just had one shipped to my place in Oregon last week as a matter of fact. Very happy. He's as nice a guy as they come.
