Let me preface this with the caveat that I am no Tom Davison or Dan Greenberg, nor any of the other spectacular purveyors of the photographic arts that are on here. Plus, these were all shot mid day to early afternoon. This is an open event, and kicks off the outdoor show season here, so there are a TON of cars, some of which are HAMB friendly. I didn't get too fussy filtering out stuff with goofy wheels if the rest of the car fit the general criteria, so bear with me on that. Here goes. 2015-04-26 14_opt.jpg 201542630.jpg

2015-04-26406opt.jpg Really nice 5 window I've spotted a few times running around my part of town late last summer and earlier this spring. This is the first time I've seen it stopped, and by this point in the program we were on our way out as we had to get to the airport, so I still didn't get a chance to have a real good look.

Neat Canada only Dodge Mayfair, a "Plodge", Plymouth body with a Dodge front clip. Cool car with a laundry list of neat factory options like power steering and brakes, windshield washers, and a bunch of other neat stuff. Pretty much took this pic for the weirdos over on the De-uglifying T bucket thread :D

The color combo on this one worked way better live than it seems to in my photo.

2015-04-261333opt.jpg I nearly left this shot out due to the big, goofy radials up front, but this thing has had the wheels driven off of it. I see it EVERYWHERE. So likely just needed front rubber badly, and sometimes a guy has to make do. Neat car, and clearly well sorted.

I know, way OT again, but a great story, and my hands-down favorite vehicle at the show. Converted into a mini firetruck when new in '47, the owner bought it from the Wilcox Saskatchewan fire department 6 weeks ago! 3000 original miles, even the original tires are on it. I hope to see it around again, I'd like to spend some more time studying it.

Ok, the Rolls is OT, but my only regret here is I wish I'd gotten a better shot of it.

My wife really liked your cabover. We were on our way out when we saw it, so I didn't poke around it much, but it has a great look.

It was a good show, all kinds of cars that's for sure. Almost need a bigger venue. The olds didn't make it due to some tuning issues that I'm gettin on this week. Cruise nites start on Wednesdays now too? Hope to be out at bunch of them this summer.

Thanks for posting the shots, Brad!
As an ex-Calgary native, it's always fun to see what's prowling the hometown streets!
