oldrelics, I think the venue is a good size, but maybe could have been better organized. Surely after putting this on for 25 or 30 years or whatever it's been, they would anticipate 12 or 1500 cars on a nice April day. Lot's of cars intended for the show sprinkled throughout the unwashed. I still have some brake issues to work out on my old Dart wagon, it'll be out soon. And hoping to cruise the Poncho at some point this summer.
And Ray, I'm a little jealous, I'd sure like to be an ex-Calgarian living in Sacto. Beautiful city

  2. Hey Brad, thanks for posting and yeah, I fell in love of that COE Truck too . What is the story on the big tyres on the front of most of those cars, government regulations stating that the front tyres must match the rear ? Apart from the tyre choice there were several desirable cars and trucks I would like parked in my garage. Another question is what side of the road do you guys drive on as I noticed the Roller is right hand drive and the American cars we had imported years ago came via Canada assembly lines right hand drive ?

Whiplash, I think the large front tires are a trick of the slight fish-eye lens effect in the photos. I've seen most if these cars in person and they actually do have smaller fronts. The blue RPU and the purple shorty sedan in particular.

We drive on the right up here, so as not to confuse visiting Americans (I kid, I kid). The Rolls is an English import, and Canadian made cars for export to Commonwealth nations were built RHD over here for export.

I'm just glad spring is finally here!
