The 32 tudor in my avatar is a French built original V-8 (Asnieres, Paris) but has a 'American"style body without the wooden floorsupport as in a 'Euro' style tudor. Also have a 'Euro' tudor body form France in great shape, but still without a chassis. Last year i sold a European 32 tudor form Denmark and a former 32 tudor from Holland (turned into a pickup) to a friend when i lost my job. Still regret it but hey, still two 32 's are left. If someone is looking for a European hood with the raised louvres panel or a nice two glove dashboard, i both have them for sale if the price is right. Hennie
Can we see the before pics. What did it start out as? Certainly not a 3 window coupe? Was it a Tudor? Any frontal pics?

Here : http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/norwegian-blacksmiths-36-coupe.222004/page-7 on page 7-9 there are some pics of the build.What I bought was only the body and front seats without dash and nothing else.Restored it as an english tudor at first and got license plates.Then I cut it in pieces and applied to the officials to change body style. Oh you have put a trunk on it...that was OK for them. I couldn't afford a real 3W coupe...cheap substitute.
I thought no way could you turn an English tudor into a coupe. But there you are. Absolutely amazing. And the 36 is better again. Thanks for your reply.
Very impressive work on the 3W conversion - so cool. Here's another HAMB find. Wonder what happened to it as well?
I have a pair of original '32 25-louver hood sides I'll trade for a nice pair of original European raised-panel sides. You pay shipping. Anybody?

Neat cars. I used to hate the look of these, due to slanted windscreen, but after seeing this thread, really starting to appreciate them, especially the chopped ones. That last pic of maroon tudor looks like it had a chrome grille surround ?
Thanks guys. Just trying to spread the love, as not many know about the model ;-) Clem, the maroon Tudor doesn't have a chromed grille shell - it's just painted.
Looking at the top of it, it looks a little pitted, mine looked exactly that way and the same colour after we dipped it to remove the old chrome. Note the changing colour and reddish tinge at top. .The owner will know. And I thought some of those European deuces may have been sold with chrome grilles.
I've never seen pictures of European '32s with chromed grille shells. And the literature I have mentions that the only chromed grille shells were installed on later British (and only British) "Deuces" produced in '33 and '34 (models with skirted fenders). These Deuces didn't sell well, so Ford UK tried to "pimp" them with some extra chrome. Maybe somebody from the UK can confirm?
Neat. I just love these old photos. Looks like they took more care in England than their counterparts in the USA. judging by the other photos that I've seen.
