I dont use books. I use the HAMB. For instance, I just got some cheesy prefab engine mounts from A&A to use one my modified yesterday. Tonight I saw Canuck's update post, which lead me to search for other motor designs, and now I have decided those stamped motor mounts just arent good enough. Inspired me to do better.

Or... couple months ago I started building the frame for the modified, kicked *** for about 2 weekends, then stalled... Untill I saw 60's Style's frame posts... got my *** right back in gear.

As much o/t stuff and drama ******** that people try to bring, if you look there is a lot of very good stuff here, and if that doesn't inspire you... well, i dont know what to tell you.

Anything with print & pictures, there are ideas everywhere.

But more than anything the H.A.M.B. Has got me up off my bottom and planning great things. No bull man, just facts.

  6. Besides the HAMB :)................one I liked was "HOT RODS & CUSTOM CARS" with vintage speed grapics and pic's. Plus I love going thru the old stake of 50's and 60's car mag's.

My favorites are Hot Rods of the Fifties by Andy Southard, Jr. and The Birth of Hot Rodding by Robert Genat. They show and tell it like it was.
