I'm probably over thinking this but. Please post pic's of how you did the rear mount for leaf spring shackels that are no longer under the frame.

  4. I've done this countless number of times. Works much better than lowering blocks. Specialy when you have real horse power in front.

look at spring hangers on newer trucks like Ford Ranger. They sell replacement ones as they rust off. they are rivited on from the factory. The can be modified as needed.

When you move the right side rear spring to inside of the ch***is the spare tire well has to go away.

That is not always the case.

Does doing this discernibly affect body roll etc.? This seems like a good idea.

I used factory parts and move right to inside left and left to inside right. I do not know why people buy kits and cut up frame to mount shocks in frame. I did this in 1977ish and was very happy with it. N-50-15's 10' rims inside wheel.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] well..

I'm only moving the springs in 2"s to clear the backing plate bolts on the narrowed 12Bolt that I picked up. The Hj springs mounted below the frame at the front and through the frame at the back(shackle). My current 57.
