One of my hot rod buddies and close personal friend p***ed away suddenly this week and his funeral was today. His coffin was carried in his 33 pickup, (that he had owned since HS), followed by a caravan of some of his personal collection. The black 32 is an all steel gennie that his Grandpa owned. A fitting tribute. RIP, my friend. I will miss you.
Sorry for your loss. Your buddy had really good taste. And was obviously held in high regard, for a parade such as that. God bless him.
So very sorry about the p***ing of your friend. I'm sure he was looking down and smiling at all that was done for him.
Thanks, guys. He had an eclectic taste in cars, from the no rust 27 roadster that had a hot late model Ford banger in it and the beater A tudor with a bad*** SBC to that gorgeous laser straight, black Chevelle. A couple of his other cars weren't there, like the black, flattie powered 34 5W and the 48 Caddy droptop.
My condolences for the loss of your friend and that was a very neat procession he surely would have loved.
Thanks for the thoughts. Since we would meet up at the NSRA Knoxville thing this weekend, I thought it would be OK to bring him along in spirit today. We had one last time together looking at cars. Pretty melancholy day.
Condolences to you, family and friends. What a cool way to go out. Care to post his name for those here that may have known him?
