1952-59 Ford New to the Ford Group

Hey guys, I've been around the HAMB for a few years now. Joining your ford group because I just picked up a new ride. 56 Customline, So far its all body work and nothing else. Gonna go through the drive train and get it running proper first. Then on to the shiney stuff.

It's all stock at the moment, 292 Y with a 3 speed overdrive manual. Engine runs ok ish and doesn't smoke at all so I will probably do a gasket set and paint. Maybe ram horns and dual exhaust. Not sure what to do with the trans just yet. It's stuck in overdrive and leaks a bunch. Maybe adapt an AOD. Not sure yet.

Yes, Inland Empire, it seems kind of silly for me to say welcome from So Cal to another person from So Cal. And he's farther south than me.

 

If ram horns won't work in my car what can I do to get rid of the crossover pipe up front and run true dual exhaust?
