I drive (taking turns) either my 52 or my 53 Mercury Monterey Sports Coupes. I would like to ad front disc brakes (power would be great, but easy install more important, maybe one of each. A friend sent me a YouTube link from Rayj53 that got me all excited on this near bolt on conversion. I called to order the FentonM1485 he used only to be told it was ONLY for 4 wheel drum brakes. First, can anybody provide me a link for Rayj53 - please. Secondly can anybody offer links or suggestions. Power would be nice, but I don't want to modify my firewall & lack all but basic mechanical skills so modifications/fabrications havew to be hired. than****

I think fat man fab makes a under floor mount for a merc not power but will give you a dual mc. I know they made them years ago. just go to there site and ask.

it's a standard power brake swap. there's no under floor to this one because it's all on the firewall from factory. Supposedly the easy way is 70s Granada spindles, rotors, power booster, and master cylinder, but i can't find the swap forum where the guy already did it to get you part numbers.
