Not quite sure where anyone would measure the "top". The upper "corners" are curved.

  5. 2 door post and 2 door hardtop use different windshields. Put up a photo of where you think we should take the measurement from. There is no easy place in a rounded corner. Could get you a total width from the bottom corners,,,, maybe. Top to bottom in the center might tell you body style. What good are these numbers going to do for you?

I'm chopping a 59 ranchero at top of pillar. Looking to see if another windshield might lean in more at the pillars since some earlier cars seem to have shorter height. I'm already gonna be trimming the glass but would like to not have to stretch the roofs width. Even an angle finder stuck on an a pillar might tell me something.

  7. 59 Fords are all by them self when it comes to the Windshield. A 57-58 piece of glass isn't going to do you any good. Being you have already Cut it none of my advice is going to help you out. We should have talked first.

  8. Look at the shape of the top corner on this 57. It's totally different than your 59. 57-58 share the same glass.

I took out of the top of the pillars so now it's got close to the same curve on the top corners as 57-58. But I found and measured a 58 today and 59 is just plain bigger every which way. T bird is actually pretty close but would have to lean in just a little more. Gonna trim some more on original and see what I can do. Thanks
