History Anyone know what happened to this old Galaxie 500 Racecar?

I assume you mean Ron Hornaday Sr. and not Ron Hornaday Jr.

 

Looks like a Junior Johnson build, going by the color & sponsor. JJ used that number as well.
Did some digging, it may have been in a movie shoot at Ascot Park, Redline 7000.

I know a lot of racecars were "re-bodied" and run multiple years - not sure about the era in question though.....did you know that racecar spelled backwards is racecar LOL - just some comedy relief

 

Dig around and find Kim Haynes @ Racetorations in Gastonia NC....He's the local guru on old NASCAR racecars..He's restored a bunch of them... and seems to know where they all are..he's well up on all the old Holman-Moody cars.....
