We are shipping like mad today. In fact, if you've ordered a book it has shipped.

    #2, #3, & Hop Up came today.

Ryan - most excellent, sir. Can't wait 'til I have several hours available to study them page by page. Already looking forward to #4.

This is my third time reading through the new JJ. I learn something new every time I read it.

  6. Just got my copy of #3 in the mail today. Did a quick run through already, can't wait until I have enough time to do a proper sit down with it. I like what I have seen so far.

    Hey guys,
For those of you that don't know me, I am Ryan's partner in the Jalopy Journal books (#2 and #3). Publishing a book like this has been an interesting experiance for both of us. We really put our heart and soul into them, and once its released we just hold our breath and hope its well received. We love this one and think its our best yet, but hell, we are probably to damn close to it to be objective; so I'm not sure our opinion really counts.

Ryan and I are both in business for ourselves and we are used to dealing with the daily rigors and challenges that business brings. After so many years of doing what we do we have both become pretty tough and don't let much get under our skin, but I'll admit when we put out these books we turn into insecure little teenagers for a few weeks while waiting to hear what you guys think. We are starting to hear from some of you and now, reading some of these posts, I can almost relax.

Thanks for the support; let us know what you think of book #3 when yours arrives.

Had to take my daughter to riding practice last night. Had the book in my truck. A perfect setting, sitting on a bench in the country reading about hot rods as the sun set. The sound of babbling 'tweens was soon blocked out. Read it straight through. Had to read the Argentina story twice. Great read. Good stuff there.

    Hi Ryan:
Working my way through JJ #3. Savoring the read like a fine vintage. I have to say your article on the Tardel's is spot on. Personal, heartfelt and well presented. A great representation of two folks who build the best and sound like fine individuals. Thanks. TEB
