  3. I'm plugging a T5 from an 88 Mustang into my 35 behind a y block. around here, S10 T5s are everywhere, so I'll get a tailshaft housing off one of them if I need to move the shifter forward...

Put a 2004R in my '36 coupe. Previously had a 350TH in its place. Had to cut the x-member pretty hard to clear the trans. pan. The drive shaft is a direct swap. Not finished yet, but I'm anxious to have the OD. Any ideas on hooking up the TV cable when using 2-4's? Not very much room from the firewall to the rear carb.

Got me thinking about replacing a TH 350 with the 200 4 r.How about the converter. Are they lockup so they need a switch wired in like a 700 r4?

Yes, they are equipped with lock up converters.

Hi there I was wondering if you ever did the 2004r install in your 40. Just wondering what you had for front suspension. and how everything turned out. I want to do this to my 40 coupe while retaining the wishbones. Right now it has a early chassis engineering split wishbone kit and a th350. Thanks
