This is your car! From what we have seen so far you've done a brilliant job. Much kudos to everyone involved!
Sondre and Olaf- I am at a loss for words! What the two of you have created just boggles my mind. Your dedication to the past and to carrying it forward into the future is certainly praise-worthy. As my Aussie pals say, "Good on 'ya, mates!" John PS - Sondre - Keep your eye peeled for some new scans of the old mags. I just acquired another pile of the old treasures.
Congratulations! Champagne and cigars! LOL. Opening up the fin above the light is such an improvement over the original! Will you be sticking with the stock front.bumper? (IMHO, while the split bumpers are fine, the front pan left something to be desired.)
Ahhhggghhh! All that paint work and now your drilling holes in it?!?!? Your supposed to do that BEFORE paint! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Thanks Mo! We are very happy with the outcome as well! Yes, we're doing the stock bumper version ob the Ranchero. I like both as well, so it was a hard choice!
Thanks John We're very gappy abou it too! Ohh, new scans sounds terrific! Thanks again for all your effort John!
Glad you all liked the outcome! Taking a break today from painting to pick up some vinyl and leatherette at our third brother Kjetil at Kvipt Kustom Upholstery! Then I'll fire up the sewing machine! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
hello from the west coast of Canada..you two have done such a great job...hope I can get to Sweden one day, and visit you guys and see the real thing...WOW
Pro tip: when drilling holes, cover the area with masking tape. Makes it easy to mark the spot, and prevents the paint from lifting or chipping.
