I love the car, but hate the graphics. I think they clash but you didn't build it for me. Does it have a top? Looks like more than just a lot of work. Imaginative to say the least.

  6. I've watched this from the concept stage and I have to say its impressive Nitro....I can sure see the amount of hours in a vehicle of this magnitude....Great work!

I've been watching this build from the get-go and I agree with everyone else, I love the car, everything except the wheel skirts and the water graphics. It takes balls to try something different, but I'd really like to see it with everything it has, minus those two things. The dual cowl idea worked out well and so did the modified front clip.

I think I've seen somewhere that Barris was involved with this car. Is that right? If yes, what did he do to it?

The workmanship appears to be good, but it looks like it was built by commitee - wasn't anyone in charge? It seems like a waste of effort to me, even considering it's a show car.

  11. Added the cheese-factor I'd say.......

This reminds me of the "dog" van in "Dumb And Dumber" covered in brown fur. I'm surprised it didn't get painted in silver metalflake to really complete the full "effect".

A lot's probably been spent to make something look so tacky and cheap. Sorry. It might be good in a movie though!

I agree with Peddro..the white paint takes a lot of the detail away from it, makes it look like a like a fibreglass dodgem car. Makes me think of that merc called "the Ghost", and that surely can't be a good thing.

Not my cup-o-tea either... but I can respect the craftsmanship that went into it.

I can barley weld, bondo is my duct tape, and I've never had a radiator that didn't leak... THUMBS UP TO YOU BRUTHA!

In the pic without the skirts, I think it looks a ton better than the pics with the skirts. Course thats just my weeeeeee little opinion. Other than that, just like many have said, I can respect the amount of work that went into it, and without the skirts its alright looking, but not my cup-o-tea either!

    Good craftsmanship though!

Easily one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen in my life. Everything about it is horrible. A lot of the other comments on here mention the "craftsmanship" and the hours put into this turd because they are reaching for something nice to say. Well, I don't care if everyone thinks I'm an asshole, I'm going to say what most are really thinking...this pile of shit should be used for target practice and then crushed. Please sell all your tools and stop building cars immediately, you obviously have poor taste and zero design skill. A fine example of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should." Did I mention it was ugly?

  19. I like the design and overall look. The dual cowel is classy.
That pic 23bucket posted looks like it is ready to pounce.

I prefer the open wheel wells, loose the blue graphics.

:D Exactly what I was thinking but I didn't want it to seem like I was picking on him.:D

I wonder if Jerry Kind (the actual builder, not Al) will agree that "Big Al" MR NitroFC, was one of the 6 "builders". Sould make for a few good laughs at the Detroit Autorama this year. I'm sure they'll put it as far in the back corner as they can, just like they do all of Jerry's cars.

I agree this is supposed to be traditional site. Time and place for everything and that belongs in 80's graffix and steet rod site. When did people here start liking 20 inch wheels on a car and stop telling what they really think.

Jeez, tough crowd in here. But I'll stick with my original statement. I like it, everything but the paint and the wheel skirts.

I bet if someone photoshopped it with some nice wheels inside open wheelwells, and a different paintjob, maybe a two tone burgandy, darker on the fadeaways, without the splash graphics, this would be a really neat looking car. If I knew how to change colors properly in photoshop, I'd do it myself.

A shark themed car...... wow. Almost as cool as that bad ass Spiderman themed "chopper" that I saw on the Discovery Channel. Some guy was yelling at his son and they were mocking up another Scooby Doo themed traditional chopper. It was great.

I can definately respect hard work and craftsmanship though..... eerrgghh yeah.

Hmmm. I just don't know what to say...

  30. I put my current favorite wheels on it (70's t-bird with shannon cones), and painted it a dark red, and fixed the goofy donut skirts... Lotta time spent on that car that could have been so much more if they had spent less time.
