What a incredibly beautiful hot rod! I've been watching this thread since day one, must feel pretty good getting to the point you are at.

Thanks OJ, couldn't have done it without you.
Yep. I should be ready for the Showdown (2016). I'm pretty disappointed that I can't make any laps through the mud though.;)

Very nice. You did a great job on the car and with explaining thing in your thread. I really liked the starter solution. You, sir are a problem solver. Thanks

Did you find the fuse box connections you were looking for?

I never found the original fuse box terminals we took out several years ago, but I did find new ones online. For time's sake I pulled out the unused power door lock terminal and moved it to the fuel pump slot. I wired it up temporarily last night to test it and it actually works. I'm getting very close to driving. :)

I fired to motor tonight for the first time with the body on. Gotta finish up the wiring, install the steering column, dash, pedals, and a temporary seat and I'll be ready for a ride. Maybe this weekend.

Wow that has just the right amount of "Cam Lope" to drive away all those that would think about challenging you at stop lights. :p

Made a bracket for the throttle cable and finally got the go pedal sorted.

Took a little drive this evening. Now I've got to break out the Go-Pro, 'cause it's hard to hold the phone, steer and shift.

Cool now you don't have to sit behind the wheel making vroom vroom noises anymore.
