What will they bolt to and has anyone tried using them? Are they standard early Ford pattern or larger? Searched the topic. Came up with too much and too little, which equates to not enough.

The AA bolt pattern is larger than the car pattern of the 1930's, they used a 20" lock ring wheel that I can't see as a Hot Rod wheel.

I figured they were probably a different pattern. I'd never really got down and really taken a good look at AA wheels, so I wasn't sure of their construction. From what you say, it must be a wack idea though. Just thought a 20" wheel would look cool with some old rubbers around it. Plenty of tires available for those things.

i changed four of those things in the backyard last summer, that sure was a workout. you have to sledge hammer the ring down off the bead, then pry it off to get the tire and tube out. and if the ring isn't set on just right when you go to air it up, look out!! not too good for a hot rod i guess, they must weigh about 50 pounds without a tire.
