Ok, got my parts but realize that I need a mid plate for my ****ter shield. So I need to order that after I get paid at the end of the month. But it's happening. I will finish this car soon. Maybe even cruise it to a show or two this summer.

This is actually almost ready for the drivetrain and final touches. And it's only been five years. My how time flies.

I can't believe this car is ****ing done and ready for the engine and trans. Need to buy some chrome screws for the headlight rings and buy new sill plates but other then that it's ready. Lights work, interior trim is installed, outside trim is installed, it's done.

Nice. The white headliner looks good in the all black interior.

Thx Scott, yeah I picked a white headliner because all black would be too dark.
The white gives it a brighter feel. Or a "POP" as it were.

So remind me again what the details are on the drivetrain?
I'm pretty sure this car could rake in trophies with a straight six,so anything zesty between the frame rails oughtta really knock em dead.:)

I really don't think so. I need to install the engine and trans. at my buddy's shop, Then we need to dial it in, then set ride height and build some period correct ladder bars, then it goes back to the Body Shop for more color sanding and polishing, then contact some Magazines for a possible shoot THEN ...drive it like I stole it. Sooo, no. Soon is all I can say.

Leaving Friday for my friends shop in Bakersfield, Performance Head Development to put the motor and trans. in, adjust ride height and build bigger ladder bars. I also need to order a pair of chrome reverse wheels for the back. Going with 15x8 with a 5"-3" back space and a 10" cheater slick or close to that to give the tire that ****ed in look.

You should go with a 4:30 gear with that tremec.

Just finished mine. The 4:30 rear gear seems perfect to me. It's really a blast to drive.
