Projects 38 ford panel truck

So after a while of talking to the owner I descided to buy the beautiful 38 Ford panel truck which was in cl***ified section. I just have to finalize a few things and then get it shipped to England.
Now my plans are to keep it traditional and have it powered by a Buick 401 nailhead. So no modern parts, such as mustang 11 front suspension. I also plan on having as few repo parts as possible.
So Im going to start doing my research and wait for it to get here

grille is a 39! cool panel.

 

Yeah no v8 top on the grille ...but by the looks of it other features are for a 38

 

The 38-39 grilles have the same overall shape but are very different in construction. JW
