    If it's my '41 you're asking about...
The front is GM clipped with 2"shorter springs, and the rear has de-arched leafs with 2" blocks, and it's on 710-15 firestones.
Probably more relevant are the measurements - ground clearance from the bottom of the front of the running board is 8", from the back of the running board to the ground is 6".

I guess I'll throw mine in here. Another 41 Chevy coupe. Chassis Eng rear parallel spring kit with 3" blocks and 1 1/2 drop kit for the front from Butch's. Another view with caddy caps in my avatar.

  7. A little late to the party, but since the man partly responsible for the current stance of my car (NashRodMan) has posted his '41 Chev, I figured I should post mine, as it now qualifies for this distinction.

  8. Yep, it's coming down further-- I've got a replacement set of coils for the front ready to be installed, and a planned de-arching for the rear sometime very soon!

Nice to see an unchopped merc occasionally! :)

Great looking car by the way!

I'd also like to see some more late 30's tail draggers! any one?

My next serious work on the 39 will be to get the stance right. For the moment I'm still relying on Rik Hoving's photoshop magic. 11270456_10200516791159032_2264403352009279285_o.jpeg

EVL401, are your rear handles painted or shaved? Looking on my little phone screen and it's hard to tell for sure. Love the look of this car! Anymore pics?

At first glance I thought that was a shifter sticking through the roof, not a dinosaur head. Guess I've looked at too many Roth paintings over the years, LMAO.

Thanks, I ask because I saw an OT foreign car in that exact color and wanted to do mine similar. It's a very 50s feeling color.
