Technical Mystery Intake

    Hello folks.

    This is my first post here. I've been following the site for quite some time and now I need some help from you guys.

    I've got a couple Offenhauser intakes with 6 Strombergs on top, but I just don't know for which engine they are.

    Here are some pics of the first one:

    Can some one help me?

    Looks like a Ford Y block. 312 or something.

    It looks like a Y block to me also. Can't think of anything else. Is there a number or letters cast into it?

    Yes.. It has "3947" engrave on the inside part of it.

    Yep.. it is indeed for "Y" block Ford. Thanks a lot guys

    I found that in the catalog, but I only have the pdf, not the paper one, so I could not read the number very well...I could tell it ended in 47, that's about it.

    good to see another mystery solved
