  3. Sure you will Steve! You are making more progress than I am. I'm hoping for a burst of energy after the Roadster Show. See you in 10 days!

  4. ...... and with dual sidemounts on a 3W too! Its an old hot rod that was brought out of LA by my friend Kenny Walsh of Ft. Dodge, Iowa in 1974. Kenny gave me the original pics of the day he found it in in a garage while looking for a place to live in LA. He saw it and asked the kids playing in the yard if it was for sale and they said it was because their parents were splitting up. Kenny thought it was an old drag car because it still had roll bar mounts in it. I'll have to post those pics of it sometime to see if anyone recognizes it. He built it as a real hot rod and drove it to the Street Rod Nationals in Tulsa in 1976. After a few years he sold it and the next owner did the restorod thing to it - dual sidemounts, dual horns, electric windows, etc. After it passed through a few more owners I found it in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1997. My hope is to someday redo it in a different color and take it back to being a traditional hot rod, minus all the goofy restorod stuff.

  11. Quite an introduction. I wish my first post could have been me in a 32 roadster! Classy looking car.

32-6.JPG I'll join in. Took me starting to build a 30-31 Model A chopped Tudor Sedan, then a 31 Model A Roadster, before moving onto a 32 Roadster. The 32 will get finished since the other 2 didn't!

That's a great first post. What about a thread about what you are doing to it or have done?

<-------:Still in love with this same old bucket of bolts for the last 43 years. Also in the wings is a '32 P-up, bought new by my Grandfather; chopped & channeled in 1959 by high schoolers. I bought it back (in 1971) for $75.00...hopfully to live again!

    Hi,
That is an 8ba head , who made the generator mount?
    I need one of those

  22. Edelbrock.. It says 42-48, but it might be modified to miss the thermostat housing on an 8BA.
I think this might be it.....

It needs to be changed to the other side and flipped upside down from this pic though.

Here's a thread about the whole issue: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/offset-generator-bracket-for-flathead.80221/

And another thread about a Navarro mount:
