Hey all, introducing myself here. Been lurking for a little bit, reading as much as I can as I put together ideas for a project starting in the spring. I'm ending a car-less phase brought on by a recent house move and arrival of kids. We're in the new place long enough (and have unpacked enough junk) to start making use of the shop, so the search begins. Current potential project list: Early 50s Chevy car (Theme would be dark color, modest lowering, low amount of chrome, plain jane wheels, rumble, but not crazy exhaust . . .a Northern Moonshiner's car, if there ever was such a thing) 48-53 Chevy Truck 30s street rod. Of course, I'll probably change my mind several more times before I settle on something. Other interests are old garden/farm tractors, house projects/woodworking, blues guitar.

Thanks for the welcomes, Sticher and Chick. I get the "Where the hell is Warren" question all the time. . . It's in the NW corner of the state, not near any of the highways. I'm zeroing in on the project -- looks like it's going to be a 49-54 Chevy 2 Door.
