    I am putting together a list of cl***ic American orphan car makers and could use help with any that I may have left off.

    Any help would be great!

    Not to nit pick, but I am just curious as to why you are compiling a list that has already been done numerous times?
     
  3. The 'Encyclopedia of American Cars 1930-1990' lists 52 'major' manufacturers/makes, of which 39 are now orphans. It also lists 195 'minor' manufacturers, pretty much all of those are orphans. Go before 1930, and you can add more than a few dozen more at least. And five (six if you include the Ireland-built DeLorean) of the makes you listed aren't US makes...

    Another nit from your list: Heny J was a Kaiser model. Not a brand.

    ..and a GEO sure wasn't a cl***ic or American, unless you count it because it was the brand used here.
