Brooklands, oldest racing circuit in the world...grew up 10 miles from it.

Ahh, on reading the link I see this is not there but posted by them. Not surprising as half the Brooklands track has houses on it now.

 

From the angle of the car, I would guess a can of beer.

Well, I hope - he's got quite some lean angle going there and the guy's skid-lid ain't gunna be much help without a roll-cage.

 

Exactly!! " Well held" refers to him holding it all together,going from 2 wheels to 4,instead of 2 wheels to none!!
