Watched the auction all week. Sold for over 36K tonight. First saw that car back in the 80s at either a KKOA or KOA event, and it stopped me in my tracks. One of my all time favorites. I hope the new owner doesn't change a thing, except the front wheels. I'd love to own it, but can't play in that league $$. If the new owner is a HAMBer, please post some more pics.
Car was built here in jersey by bob nitti in the early 80s, originally known as "Tahitian Charm". The other name wasn't used until he sold it. I know it was in New Jersey until at least 1986 as I have pictures of it from car shows until then. It's basically unchanged since then except for the wheels. It was a big inspiration for me since the first time I saw it.
