Calling all GMBs

A bunch of us are meeting this Saturday (the 11th) for lunch in Birch Run Michigan. That's between Flint and Saginaw on I75. We will be at the Exit Restaurant which is on the northeast corner of the Birch Run I75 exit at noon (that's 12:00PM for you out of staters ). They have a big back room where we can do one big table so we can all shoot the ****. You will know you are at the right place if you see Frank sleeping in his truck out front This is hosted (not paid for!) by the Nightmares. I hear Charlie Chops is gonna be there from the west side of the state so I hope some of you others can make it too.

 

That sounds good, I'm going to try and make it, otherwise I'll see you all at Detroit.

I've been wantin' to go to one of these breakfasts for a while, I picture it looking like some kinda big mafia meeting, but I've got a line on a 40 Ford for s**** prices so I can't p*** that **** up!

 

Oh sure, do it the weekend between the weekends I'll be in Caro.

I just ate at Tony's in Birch Run last Sunday and if the Exit is half as good, you'll have a great time.

It'll be a pleasure to meet once again with my old galoot and young hoodlum pals.

Ohio Blue Tip - the RRT Chef - will be my wheelman. So far I have to pick up two sets of Duece rails and some whitewall tires on old Caddy steelies. I think it's going to be a good hot rod day.

i'll be there for sure, provided i don't have to shell out way too much money for a new battery for the chevy, seems how my fancy optima took a ****.
well, i'll just go ahead and say that i will be there.

 

I'm thinking that might be a plan for me as well.

 

I know this thing isn't in my neck of the woods but...I've seen the GMB refered to many times on here and a reference once to the original GMB's or having been around here long enough to remember the original GMB's and was curious as to what it means(stands for).

 

If Denny Lesky has my vent window piece welded I'll be heading to Ionia that morning. You boys have fun and I'll see ya at the Autorama in a couple of weeks.

I'll be leaving for two weeks in florida on saturday morning, one week at the races in daytona and the other week in cocoa beach to recover from the first week.... But maybe I can reschedule my trip...pat

As of a couple of hours ago Rudy was planning on bringing the rails up there to you. Hopefully Frank has his rear ready and he can then haul that home. As far as the "hauling" vehicle, it's not going to be Big Olds this time. His dash is in a ton of pieces and he has no tail lights right now either. I think he plans on strapping those rails to the roof of his mini-truck. ....he'll probley ask me to sit in the back and hold on to them so they don't go anywhere.

 

wont be there devlscoupe is supposed to come over and pick up my sedan body on saturday. otherwise it sounds like a good time.

I'd like to come but my youngest is driving out from M***achusetts this week(his birthday was Wednesday)for a visit.He just called from West Virginia and is bringing his gf from there.He wants his new truck striped so he decided to take a few days off and drive out.Must be nice.Hope to see everyone at the Autorama in a few weeks.
