Projects 1949 Chevy 3100 build

picked up this 49 a few days ago. Looks to be mostly original no engine or ******. I'm gonna take it apart and have the frame and cab sand blasted and go from there. My inspiration is Art Morrisons farm truck. Mine will have a modern suspension and drivetrain. Looking at AME IFS and 4 bar rear. Also looking at Scott's hotrods suspension. Drivetrain will likely be an LQ4/9. Excited about this project!

 

looks nice as it is but you have a 2 front bumpers. Join the AD group here and good luck on the build.

 

Good score and good luck with your build ! - love them chevys - just please relocate that gas tank too - something about sitting on top of a gas tank just don't seem like a good idea.

yup, rear bumpers were flatter/straighter, not as curved as fronts.
