I'm looking for a referral to someone who can rebuild a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr V12 engine for me. I have the engine dis***embled with all hardware bagged/boxed/labeled and ready to be shipped. I am in Seattle, but happy to ship engine to someone who specializes in these engines anywhere in the U.S.

  2. Vern Tardel's shop in Santa Rosa, CA did a hopped up one for a close friend, runs hard and sounds great.

Is Vern still got the shop running?Thought it was closing?

  4. I'm not sure, haven't been up there in years, I've heard it many times, yet he still keeps plugging away. I know Bing was building engines there up until he p***ed away. Could also try SF flatheads, though they may only do V8's

My girls Father has a 46 Continental, when he bought it it came with a bunch of paperwork including
the receipt for the engine rebuild- $99.00 Don't think they are still in business though.

Son, you are gonna drive me to drinking with that Hot Rod Lincoln. [emoji41]

Are you building a roadster with a Hot Lincoln?
I always imagined that Captain Cody drove a lake style roadster with a V12.
Tonneau cover and channel over the frame, with the drive all the way down on the floor. Only a white helmet over the tonneau cover, and no wind shield. Full hood and No fjenders.

Sorry for the thread jacking, but I'm actually THAT curious! [emoji33][emoji2][emoji12]

I have talked with Dennis Perino in Denton Texas about doing one for my car. His machine shop is well known around my parts for his work on vintage ford engines.
