Well, a lot of water has p***ed under the great bridge, but I have got another cab and had a local body guru "Ed Parker" make one good cab from 2 rufees. Now I'm trying to straighten the '32 bed.

Question why put a Hemi in there...yes it is a cool /great motor but does not belong in a leight weight highboy pick up. In my opinion and even looking at old magazines there are mostly flatheads or small blocks and tucked in headers....they just make more sence and add balance to the car...totally my opinion...of course do what you want.

Nothing wrong with running a hemi. There is a certain mystic about them.

What are you going to use for a transmission?

Looking good and I also vote for the blown hemi.

To me that's hot rodding. Shoving the most powerful motor you can into a tiny light car.

  13. Matt, yours and Littlemans pickups and many other guys pickups on here are giving me inspiration for this truck. I keep going through all the threads I can find for ideas.
    Thanks for the positive comments.

Phil, the cab looks great. I'll have to swing round and have a closer inspection. What length has then bed been shortened to 50" ?? Will probably see you at Yanchep this weekend I imagine ???

How much more does a Hemi weigh compared to a Flathead? To make it fair, how much does a Flathead with an Ardun conversion weigh compared to a Hemi?

  25. Picture didn't show up for me, but i'm eager to see your progress

  27. I'm thinking of the keg for a fuel tank, but not sure if it looks a little corny!!

  28. Great stance!
I don't mind the keg, I think the fact it's polished
    makes the difference.
