What can I say? It looks a lot better.

  6. Yeah buddy !!!
    It really does Looks great.

One color makes a big difference,
Could be 1 shade of peptobismol pink or baby**** brown and look 100 times better than 27 different shades of bodywork.

I think that would be "whip", as in car, or ride.

About 10 or 15 years ago, there was a thing going around here in Montgomery, and who knows where else, to take '90's four door Chevys and paint them up in corporate product theme paint jobs - Reese's bits on an orange car, Sprite with the blue-green paint, etc. I thought that the most clever of the lot was a big white sedan featuring the package and logo of, what else, "Cool Whip"!

As trends go, it really was one of these WTF kinda things, though.

Lol! Thank you guys I still need some stuff on the car, slowly it's coming through, I've never owned a flathead and you know what it's a hell of a sound ! it's a daily driver and I'm happy to have found her.

Coming right along. Good looking ride.

  17. no sir, I think "whip" is east coast slang for "car" ride" etc, may be a west coast thing, but I'm thinking it started in the east, I'm in Texas and certain crowds use "whip"

Actually WHIP was a term also used on the west coast . I'm not sure if it was when I came home from overseas in 67, or when I got out of the army in 68. But I learned 2 new terms from a friend about 4 year younger than I. Whip for a car, ride etc, and Raisin for what I am now Old. Never asked him (but I like work in progress wip) raisin I understood wrinkled g****
