Basicbob (Bob Perreault) had a 32 4 sale 2 weeks ago and was takin it out to LARS to sell. I contacted him and we put a deal 2gether. He said he'd meet me 60 miles from my home on the way out, and if I didn't like the car he'd load it back up and keep goin. Well the deal went thru. After it was loaded on my trailer he gave me sum bucks back sayin it needed a new carb. I think ,this is 1 straight up guy. Fast forward to the next day. I pull the dipstick and oh oh, it's a "Milk shake". I call Bob and explain the problem. He says no worry do what ya gotta do and I'll re imburse you.. Wow, this guy is really a straight shooter. Come to find out all it needed was the intake taken off, flush out the milk shake with diesel a new intake set and fresh oil and filter (Twice) and it's good 2 go. Who ever installed the intake never torqued it down and water was runnin into the valley. Thanx Bob, your "DA MAN" BTW shot it this am and will go to trim shop next week
After so many negative stories, good to hear of a seller of the old school, where a handshake was all that was needed to bond both parties to a sale. Very nice looking coupe, enjoy!
You do realize my buddy Bob is an escapee from the Springfield Missouri Mental Ins***ution, and now resides in Springfield, Ill. ...coincidence?
With all the bad stuff going on it is really good to read a story like this. Bob, my hat is off to you.
I too have had some good dealings with Bob, I bought some parts off him last year. A little while after he contacted me and said he had a spare 32 pickup dash tunnel that he would send to me for free. Top guy.
As many of you have already said, Bob is one of the most honest guys out there! I wish there were more people like him in this world. I'm glad to call him a friend!
Correct on all accounts! I see Bob two or three times a year and have sold him some parts. Everyone I know says the same thing about Him. Its well worth doing business with a guy like Bob. Tim
