Baron, you have made good progress in a year and a half, especially when you have to make time between other work. Car looks great

I did a little research and the Super Bull Corvette ran D Gas. It was run by Ferdinand (Ferd) Napfel after he sold the 55 Chevy called the Storming Bull. The Corvette was never as successful as the 55 which was a national record holder.

You have made a lot of Progress Baron and the car is looking great. It's not too far from being back on the road.

Thanks Jim. Exactly right. And without the "other work" this project wouldn't exist.

Thanks. The new wheels and tires look great. Be interesting to hear how the slicks ride/feel.

Thanks. With any luck I'd like to have at up and running in the next couple months. Little closer everyday.

Sorry but it's a picture that I found on the Internet and I don't know who owns it.

Thanks Gringo. In any case if anyone sees one with that number I sure would like to see it again. It was a body off resto using all NOS stuff which when I started on it in mid 70s wasn't NOS it was just NEW from my local Chevy dealer. It was slightly modified, the hood being the most noticeable, and the color also. The resto-weenies hated me which considered a badge of honor. I only got to drive it 1 mile for the test drive of the new owner.

This was my second Hot Rod Corvette in 1972-3. Cragars ,side pipes and headlights moved to the grille , no front bumpers got it away from the "stock Corvette look".

1964 is the last year for drum brakes. My car has the j65 sintered metallic power brake option. The set of wheels I'm running are made for discs, but it would be really tight at the inner fender lips on a disc car.

And how the 62 looked back in 77 after I went through the car and removed all the racing gear and replaced the missing items. IMG_123283957847598.jpeg

The Sherrill Corvette from Klamath Falls Oregon.
Terry was a class act, his cars were always very nice.
Just learned that Terry passed recently.
    RIP Terry
