Good evening everyone, hope sunday is treating you well!

I wish I could say my sunday was good ;) long story short I replaced a radiator in my '58 edsel (has a 390 fe from a '66 fairlane in it now) after the new radiator I noticed oil in my fluid. I thought the new radiator was actually holding pressure (unlike the old one) and blew out a gasket. I removed and reinstalled the intake, still leaking. Removed the intake again and did see any signs of gasket failure so I removed the heads. No sign of gasket failure there either...

A lite research has exposed a weak point in ford fe blocks between the water jacket and oil hole. In reading I have decided to sleeve the oil hole with a peice of 1/4 round pipe as described in various websites however I notice my oil passage is necked down to 1/4" (about the last 1.24" of the passage) the rest is a larger diameter. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to fix this problem. Please?!

    Thanks! Seth
