3" drop front axle and just one of the short leaves removed Rear leaf mountings raised up 2" and four leaves removed To me it looks pretty stock and not that low. Could take another leaf out, probably the second longest, might drop it a little more and soften the ride a tad Ian
If you think that loos stock it must have really been sagging when you got it. Those things sat like an off roader and rode like a lumber wagon new. I may try removing a leaf and seeing what it did to ride quality, and if that doesn't cure it de-arching the springs is your next best bet.
Thanks for nice comments No, mine was very high just meant that's what stock should look like. Doesn't look really low Bet that last one sits on a different frame? Ian
LOL the last one almost sits on the ground. I like both trucks yours and the one that rusty1 posted. I would probably shoot for a stance like yours has if I had one to play with ( I know where there is one worth the money by the way) just because I have a tendency to work my stuff more then other guys do. But I still like 'em both. The jailbar is a very versatile truck to play with.
Check the deep offset on the wheels. Mustang ll with the 'narrow option'? Also note the coolant leaking. Bottomed out on the way in, cracked the solder on the lower tank...
Phttttt not a rad leak at all one of those cry baby dolls just piddled before someone took it to a different car to lean on. Hey here is something I never noticed about these trucks before these front fenders look cut. Are they cut?
IMO...Sits just fine, too low you bottom out, too high looks like shit. If it rides ok leave it be, if it too bouncy play with the springs but don't get it any lower
Reverse the eyes, then radius those front fenderwells. (lower first, then radius!) I did that to a guy's '36 Coupe, everyone thought it was 'sectioned'! Some guys got 'no eyes'...
