I had this thread in the Social Groups/Brands/Mopar But I could not figure out how to allow everyone access. I basically save all the pre 1940's Plymouth-Dodge-Mopar parts places and note about experiences or threads that help in building these cars. I'm focused on '33 Plymouth. Here goes: Please add any 33-34 Ply-Do parts you know of with the best prices. Also reviews on the seller and shipping would be cool. I'll try to post what I can find as I get into my project. here some I'll probably be ordering parts from in the future. This posting is just reference list of links, I'm not promoting or endorsing any of them until I have purchased and used the parts. http://www.butchscoolstuff.com/store/cart.php?m=product_list&c=15 http://www.windshieldframes.com/Products/Plymouth-Dodge2.asp http://www.srpmstreetrods.com/ http://rustyhope.com/ http://jwrodgarage.com/catalog.html I also confirmed all '33 Plymouth models use the same running boards. There are a couple places to get them and I've seen them as low as 650.00 for a brand new set. An ebay seller post them for 775.00 the seller is mrmopar33 Also light3520 on ebay has them for 650.00, this seller also seems to have rubber parts for both Dodge and Plymouth NOTE THAT DODGE Running boards are different from Plymouth ones. FYI Plydo seems to be out of business. more links, not confirmed yet good build images on a coupe http://pkcustomrods.com/1933Plymouth.html http://www.classicflatglass.com/Plymouth_Auto_Glass.aspx http://www.houseoftops.com http://www.antiquedodgeparts.com/wthrstrpplym.htm#33 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/33-dodge-sedan-frontend-question.489837/

I forgot to add, this not a post to discuss your questions about the parts or your specific project, I rather keep it to add vendors where we can get parts for these cars.
Wow....lots of information here! Thanks! I can tell you I have ordered from SRPM, very knowledgable and quick shipping. I plan to order more from them.
I can confirm the gas tank panel cover that Speedway shows for a 33-34 Dodge will fit a 33 Plymouth. But you better have some patience and be ready for a lot of grinding to make it work. N/C Industries in Sayre, PA has a lot of parts they manufacture. Contact them at windshieldframes.com and they will send you a little catalog they have. Bob's Classic Auto Glass in Oregon has the patterns to cut all the glass. He is a super nice guy that is more than willing to help you out if you have installation questions. Bob's price was $350 for all the glass, that includes cutting the windshield to a template I sent him since it's a non-standard size because I'm not using the windshield frame. That was for tinted glass in all windows and a clear windshield. He also gets all the seals from someone else and passes his 20% discount along to you. Alumicraft.com has several different grill options.
For my '34 and '39 Plymouths, I use Hagens out of Puyallup WA or Andy Bernbaum's out of New England. Andy Bernbaum specializes in Chry,Ply,Do 30's & 40's. Hagens is good for all makes 70's and back. www.hagensautoparts.com www.oldmoparts.com
