Just picked up these headlights that are a lot bigger than the ones I have on but not sure how in the hell I hook them up.

Here are a pic of the new ones and my current set up, any help is much appreciated.

  2. The ones on there now probably have halogens with a 3 wire pigtial. The stock style have a single hot wire pigtail that plugs into the back socket then to a single tiny bulb inside the bucket which just grounds through the bucket to the ch***is. Probably wont be very bright. You won't have hi/low.

Yep I have a three wire setup currently. Popped the new ones apart tonight and you are right there is one bulb with two wires.

    Update!

Got them on and hooked up, really happy with the turnout. Here are a few pics.

Had to cut this brace to get the stock mounting bolt out, but other than that I didn't have to cut anything else on the new lights, still has the original bracket and rivet bolts for that clean look.

Dealt with all kinds of alignment issues with my perchs. Ended up making a spacer that fixed the issue and still looked good.

Mock up spacer below but you can see it fixed the lean issue, shortened it up and painted it.

I still have low and high beams. Notice the gap behind the new bolt and washer. I ended up making a rubber washer that when under the steel washer and filled the gap.

A little shine tends to help the project along.
